ABR—Accredited Buyer Representative
This designation indicates a real estate agent specializing in representing buyers in the real estate transaction. Conferred by the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council (REBAC).

ARM—Accredited Residential Manager
This professional has completed an in-depth course on residential site management. Meets specific experience standards and manages a sizeable portfolio of residential properties. ARM participants must be reviewed and reaccredited every two years.

CDPE—Certified Distressed Property Experts
A real estate professional that has made the commitment to work with homeowners who are in financial distress. This agent fully understands pre-foreclosure, foreclosure, mortgage modifications and short sales. They are members of the Distressed Property Institute whose agents work with hundreds of distressed homeowners on a monthly basis.

CBR—Certified Buyers Representative

CCIM—Certified Commercial Investment Member
A recognized professional in commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, asset management, valuation and investment analysis. 240 hours of graduate-level curriculum to obtain designation. Conferred by the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute of the National Association of REALTORS®

CPM—Certified Property Manager
Obtained by professionals who have completed intensive course study, met rigid experience requirements and adhere to a strict code of professional ethics. Conferred by the Institute of Real Estate Management

CRB—Certified Real Estate Brokerage
Conferred by the Real Estate Brokerage Managers Council. Identifies brokers who have taken an array of courses oriented toward enhancement of brokerage management skills.

CRP—Certified Relocation Professional
Conferred by the Employee Relocation Council (ERC). Denotes a relocation professional who specializes in relocation.

CRS—Certified Residential Specialist
Awarded by the Residential Sales Council, an affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS®. Qualification is through advanced study in listing, selling, investment and taxes plus demonstrated sales performance.

ERC—Employee Relocation Council
A non-profit professional membership
organization committed to the effective relocation of employees worldwide.

GRI—Graduate Real Estate Institute
Conferred by the National Association of REALTORS®. Presented to an agent who has completed a comprehensive education program in residential real estate. Training covers residential finance, legal issues and contracts. It also covers property appraisal, marketing techniques and professional standards.

LTG—Leadership Training Graduate
A member of the Women's Council of REALTORS® who has achieved a superior level of leadership expertise through education and experience

RRC—Referral
and Relocation Certification

Conferred by the Women's Council of REALTORS®

RRS—Registered Relocation Specialists
Canadian equivalent of the CRP designation. Experienced in assisting corporate and government transferees.

SRES—Senior Real Estate Specialist
Holders of this designation have received special training in the various issues arising from working with over 55 clients including probate, tax impacts and prospecting. An over 55 homeshopper will have a caring, informed, specialized REALTOR® to care for their every need in a housing transaction.
